Getting Started in GrassTurismo - New users start here!

Welcome to GrassTurismo, a grassroots oriented community for the Gran Turismo series.


GrassTurismo utilizes its own separate economy, separate from your stacks and stacks of in game credits. You start out in GrassTurismo with 30,000 credits burning a hole in your pocket, and an empty garage.


Setting up your Garage
Before you get started, you'll need to set up a thread for your garage, and your bank account. We have some helpful threads to get you started. You can also take a look at other garages to see how they are set up.
Creating your GT Garage
Bank Statements
Be sure to keep your Car Build Sheets and Bank Statements up to date as you progress through GrassTurismo. Any and all transactions need to be documented!


Buying a Car
Once you have your garage set up, go find yourself a car! When buying a *new* car in-game, the cost is the same as in game cost of the car. When you purchase a car, you'll need to register your purchase, and update your bank statement in your garage accordingly. Here is the vehicle registration thread.

As the forum grows, you will be able to find used cars sold by other users, or occasionally you'll be able to pick up one that needs some work from the GT Junkyard


Upgrading your Car
With its separate economy, GrassTurismo has its own separate pricing for parts. It is much cheaper than in game pricing, and more suited to our lower budget economy here.

Getting Paid
So now you are broke after getting your first car and buying some parts. What next? After your first full week, you can take advantage of the weekly paydays. They occur every Friday, the payout is 8k. You can find out more about the paydays at

You can also participate in events or meets hosted by other users. These can either be organized offline events like Time Attacks, or online events in which you can earn a Lobby Bonus based upon the number of GrassTurismo players you can get to show up. You can find out more about Events in
